Bangladesh Medical College
Bangladesh Medical College a private medical college sponsored and established by the Bangladesh Medical Studies and Research Institute (BMSRI), started functioning from 1986. The university of dhaka granted affiliation to this college in 1988. The Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council provisionally recognized it in 1989. Usually 100 students are admitted. The College is located at Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
The academic part of the college and the attached hospital (500 bedded) are accommodated in a six-storied building. Outdoor and emergency departments are accommodated in a separate space of about 3,000 sq m adjacent to the college building. A 500 bed hospital with the clinical departments is under construction at Uttara Model Town, Dhaka; one wing of the “outdoor” at the above site has already been commissioned. The college has a library occupying about 250 sq m, with a good collection of books and journals. The principal is the head of the institution.
Monno Medical College and Hospital
Monno Medical College and Hospital is located by the side of Dhaka–Aricha highway at Manikganj, an important district of Dhaka division. The college is a ten storied building having total floor space of 1,22,000 sq.ft. The area of college campus is more than 13 acres of land of green natural beauty. Monno Medical College is approved by the Government of Bangladesh, affiliated to the University of Dhaka, recognized by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), and also a Member of Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA). At present the Government of Bangladesh has permitted to admit 80 students for the session 2014-15. There is scope for admission of the foreign students with a reasonable admission fee.
Jahurul Islam Medical College
Jahurul Islam Medical College, the Hospital, and the Nursing Training Institute have been established under the Aftab–Rahima Welfare Trust as a conglomerate offering medical education & research, hospital care as well as training in nursing services. The complex is situated in Bhagalpur village of Bajitpur thana of the Kishoregonj district. The great philanthropist of this area Late Mr. Jahurul Islam is the founder of these organizations in his native land.
Bhagalpur – Bajitpur is about 110 km north-east of Dhaka city. It is connected by the Egaro Shindur Express train and has an excellent road connection with the Capital. In either way, Bhagalpur can be reached within three hours only.
In the first phase in 1989, a 250-bed hospital was put into service. It is equipped with the most modern instruments and facilities, offering round the clock services including emergencies, for indoor as well as outdoor patients. At present, there are more than 500 beds covering all the departments of a general tertiary level teaching hospital. In its final and ultimate phase of completion, the Hospital will have more beds and specialized departments to provide management and services of all aspects of medical, surgical, or emergency requirements.
Enam Medical College and Hospital
Enam clinic was established in 1989 by Md Enamur Rahman. It was established as a medical college and renamed to Enam Medical College and Hospital in 2003 in Savar, Dhaka District, Bangladesh. Garment workers from the 2013 Savar building collapse were treated in Enam Medical College.
Academics
The college offers a five-year course of study, approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dhaka University. After passing the final professional examination, there is a compulsory one-year internship. The internship is a prerequisite for obtaining registration from the BMDC to practice medicine. The academic calendar runs from January through December. In October 2014, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare capped admission and tuition fees at private medical colleges at 1,990,000 Bangladeshi takas (US$25,750 as of 2014) total for their five-year courses.
Admission for Bangladeshis to the MBBS program at all medical colleges in Bangladesh (government and private) is conducted centrally by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). It administers a written multiple-choice question exam simultaneously throughout the country. Candidates are admitted based primarily on their score on this test, although grades at Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) level also play a part. 50% of seats are reserved for foreign students. Admission for foreign students is based on their SSC and HSC grades. As of July 2014, the college is allowed to admit 100 students annually.

History
Ad-din Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to serving the disadvantaged, established Ad-din Women’s Medical College in 2008. It is the first of four medical colleges the organization operates in Bangladesh.
Campus
The college is located in Maghbazar, Dhaka, within the premises of 500-bed Ad-din Medical College Hospital. The hospital treats men and women, but over 90% of its patients are women or children.
Organization and administration
The college is affiliated with Dhaka University as a constituent college. The chairman is Rafique-ul Huq. The principal is Prof. Dr. Afiquor Rahman.
Eastern Medical College (EMC)
Eastern Medical College (EMC) (Bengali: ইস্টার্ন মেডিকেল কলেজ) is a private medical school in Bangladesh, established in 2005. The main campus is located beside the Dhaka–Chittagong Highway at Kabila in Burichang Upazila, in the Comilla District of Chittagong Division. It is affiliated with University of Chittagong and Chittagong Medical University.

Mr. Shah Md. Selim, Prof. Dr. Musleh Uddin Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Md. Kalim Ullah, Dr. Md. Abdul Quddus Akhand and Mr. Abdur Rouf established Eastern Medical College in 2005 and they are the Founder Directors.
The main campus is located beside the Dhaka–Chittagong Highway at Kabila in Burichang Upazila, in the Comilla District of Chittagong Division. The Kabila campus has an attached 600-bed hospital.

North East Medical College
North East Medical College (NEMC) is a private medical school in Bangladesh, established in 1998. It is located in South Surma Upazila, on the southern fringes of Sylhet. Anwer Khan Modern Medical College
Anwer Khan Modern Medical College (AKMMC) is one of the prestigious medical schools in Bangladesh. The School was founded in the year 2008, in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Anwer Khan Modern Medical School is affiliated by Dhaka University as a constituent college.

The academic activities of Ibn Sina Medical College commenced through admission of 50 students in 2004-05 academic session. Through 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 sessions, 7 batches of total 372 students, have undertaken the MBBS course. The college is affiliated with the University of Dhaka and recognized by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council. The students of first batch became graduate in 2011.
Now the third batch is starting their internship in our Hospital. Our patients are getting competent services by our own graduates who cares with devotion and compassion under the supervision of the experienced professors. Remaining batches are progressing as per schedule. The admission procedure of ISMC-10 (2013-2014) is now online. The admission is based on merit keeping in conformity with Government Order published and adopted by ISMC Academic Council and Governing Body.
